About

GPS is an integrated behavioral service provider established in 2021 to help close the gap in behavioral care access in the New York Metropolitan area (5 Boroughs, Long Island & Westchester).

GPS is the brainchild of Expert Medical Services, a premier provider of medical house call services for the homebound population.

The impetus to create a subsidiary company was borne out of ongoing evidence that the need for outpatient psychiatric services has significantly outpaced the services currently available, especially for the underserved homebound population. This lack of access was laid bare by the current pandemic with all its associated stressors and lockdowns.

Paramount to GPS services is the outmost respect for patient privacy, dignity, and humanity. We believe in valuing our patients and providing them with quality service in the comfort and convenience of their home. Global Psychiatric Services can address most psychiatric issues in a timely and private manner, eliminating the need for emergency hospital visits.

Leadership

Dr. Freddy Desormeaux & Dr. Jean Louis Dupiton

Our founders are Board Certified New York State licensed Physicians with over 20 years experience in the delivery of, holistic medical and psychiatric care to the homebound population in the comfort of their home.

GPS is staffed by board certified psychiatrists, psychiatric NPs, LMSW, psychologists, psychotherapists and other psychiatric specialist consultants.
